"Limited" means there is a use restriction on this license. Advantage: This restriction allows one to obtain images at lower use fees than are usually charged for unlimited use licenses. The limitation is usually in time (the number of years the image can be used before another license is needed) and the number of copies than can be printed or reproduced of the image. Limited use licenses allow for significant licensing fees savings when the usage need is not for more than one or five years, or if fewer than 5,000 or 20,000 copies of the image are expected to be reproduced. Disadvantage: If the user eventually discovers that an extended use (in time or number of copies) is needed, another limited use license or an unlimited use license will need to be purchased.
