You may show us your images in one of the following ways:

1. Direct us (by e-mail) to images on your Web site (preferred method). Give us the exact URL for each image, or direct us to pages that display several thumbnail images.
   
   
2. Send us an e-mail attachment. This should be a group thumbnail of several images, in the JPEG (.jpg) file format. This file (or up to three files) should not total more than 200KB in its compressed format. We suggest that each image have a number under it; and each image should be at least 72 pixels X 72 pixel, but no more than 360 pixels X 360 pixels.
   
   
3. Send us copy or duplicate slides. Send no more than 100 slides. You must include a self-addressed-stamped-envelope.

Direct your e-mail to GOTW@tssphoto.com, with "GOTW submission" as the subject. For snail-mail submissions, use the address at the bottom of this page (be sure to indicate that this is a "GOTW submission". Our staff will review your submission, usually within one week and respond with a decision.

We are in the business of promoting and selling stock photo use licenses. Therefore, if we decide to use one or more of your images on GOTW, you will be required to do the following:

1. Print out, sign and submit (by snail-mail) our standard representation contract: "Agency and Photographer Contract"

2. Send us a quality, high-resolution digital file or a quality duplicate (or copy) transparency of each image accepted for GOTW.

We will counter-sign the contract and mail you a copy. For more information about our agency (how we pay), and how to submit photos on a regular basis, go to our submission guidelines page.

The best hi-res digital files are drum scans, which are fairly expensive (starting at about $35). An acceptable hi-res scan is a Photo CD scan. These cost about $1.50 for scans from 35mm slides or negatives, or about $15 for "Pro" scans from larger formats. You may send these scans on a Zip disk on the Photo CD, and we will return the disk once we have transferred and archived the files. If you prefer to send film rather than digital files, our minimum requirement is a high-quality 35mm duplicate slide or copy slide. Our preferred "film" is a high-quality 70mm or 4"X5" duplicate or copy transparency.

While most images are licensed at traditional stock prices, based "one-time-use", our "Online Pricing" offers a competitive alternative to clip photography and "royalty-free" pricing. Photobuyers are presented with fees that approach royalty-free pricing, but they are restricted to limited usage (whereas, royalty-free licenses usually come with unlimited use).

The Stock Solution will promote your images online in many ways. After its initial one-week exposure, your image(s) will go to our archive. After about one month it will be keyworded and indexed on our CGI "Power Search" engine. TSS has been on the Web since early 1995, and is one of the most visited stock photo sites on the Web. Currently, we do not charge our photographers for any Web exposure, other than a 50% commission for each license fee we sell.

1. Each featured image has your name, copyright and contact information imbedded into the image, so that information travels with the image even if it leaves our Web site. To demonstrate what we mean, click here to see one of our spotlighted images separated from its normal showcase Web page.
