"Smile Cards"
for "A Brand New Year"
In the last segment of the LDS Church's DVD video presentation, "A Brand New Year",
Sister Dalton and Brother Dahlquist (of the Young Women and Young Men General Presidencies) tell the youth a way that they can be happy, IF they'll agree
to make three promises to themselves: to pray each day (morning and night), to read the Book of
Mormon at least 5 minutes each day, and to SMILE! (They remind us that with the restored gospel
and it's Plan for Happiness, we should not only be the happiest people on earth, but we should be
examples of the believers.) This card is a reminder of those three promises. The Church produced
six new songs for this DVD, including the exciting song, "Say Yes" [to Happiness]. The smile card was illustrated
by Linda Bair and is not part of the Church's support materials. We hope you find it useful! -- Royce and Linda Bair
