This tiny "autograph of God" is known as the Large-flowered Trillium (Trillium grandiflorum).and found on the floor of this sacred woodland, which is richly carpeted with many ferns, mosses, grasses and wildflowers. A member of the lily family, it flowers between April and June. The early blossoms are pure white, turning pink with age. The flowers are only about 2" across. "Everywhere I find the signature, the autograph of God, and he will never deny his own handwriting. God has set his tabernacle in the dewdrop as surely as in the sun. No man can any more create the smallest flower than he could create the greatest world." -- Joseph Parker (an English Nonconformist, 1830-1902) "...all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator." -- Alma 30:44 Please bookmark the home page and come back to view
