Stock photos of Terem Palace Cathedral Complex Kremlin Moscow. Sections of the Cathedral Complex date to 1635, with major reconstructions in 1679-82 by architect Osip Startsev, who covered a connecting section with 11 small domes on exquisite drums and placed them so that they formed three five-domed compositions. The complex is the architectural symbol of the 17th-century‚s Kremlin. Additional restorations were done in the 1920s, 40s and 60s. Today, the palace churches are the residence of the President of the Russian Federation.
