She sails training voyages around the world with over 40 years of service. 11,000 cadets have been trained on board and the vessel has covered over 370,000 of its total 580,000 nm under full sail; the crew and the 200 cadet officers see themselves as marine ambassadors for peaceful coexistence and international understanding; she has visited approx. 300 ports in over 40 countries on 5 continents.
