Stock photography, photos: Kente Weaving - Ghana

Stock photos of Ewe weavers utilize an almost identical form of the narrow-strip loom as that of the Asante. However, Ewe weaving has also been influenced by other neighboring peoples, including the Fon of Benin and the Yoruba of Nigeria. One of the main centers for the weaving of Ewe kente cloth is in Kpetoe near Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa.
