The temple of the Emerald Buddha is the royal temple of the Chakri Dynasty, located in the grounds of the Grand Palace. The official name is Wat Phrasri Rattanasasadaram. Along the cloister wall surrounding the temple are mural paintings depicting scenes from the Ramayana (Ramakien) story, and inside the temple are murals depicting the Buddha.
